Giving Circle Zoom Meeting

You are invited to join us for our 5^th Annual Gathering of the Judy Smith Giving Circle 

ZOOM MEETING SATURDAY JUNE 27, 2020 AT 1:00PM-2:00PM

The Women’s Giving Circle was formed in 2015 to help reduce the maternal and infant mortality rates in Sierra Leone which has the highest maternal and infant death rates in the world. One out of 23 mothers are still dying in childbirth and 110 out of 1000 infants die before their first birthday, largely due to the lack of basic maternal and child health care education and services.

We ask each participant (or group of friends!) to donate $5-$10 per month towards a group goal of $5,000 per year to pay wages for one western trained mid-wife, one Traditional Birth Attendant, supplies for our “Baby Bundles” (clothing, lotions, supplements) and “Benemix”, a supplement for toddlers during weaning.

Please help celebrate our lifesaving maternal health program at the Judy Smith Health Centre in Taiama, Sierra Leone on June 27, 2020 at 1pm on Zoom!! We will share:

• Latest videos of our babies and moms
• Updates and Report by special guest and storyteller Faye Mogensen who visited the project in January 2020
